Founded in 2006, the ETT software was initially created for a Swedish Credit Union that needed a system to manage member accounts, handle international transactions, and process foreign exchange transactions. Later that year, the software was adapted for a small bank in Cyprus that wanted to launch an online system to handle international transactions, foreign exchange, and connect to the SWIFT network.
Since then, our software has developed and grown substantially into what is now a complete transactional banking system. Our diverse client base spans South America, Europe, the United States, Africa, and Asia, driving us to develop solutions that meet global compliance requirements, with particular emphasis on the management of international money transmission across different banking networks.
The ETT platform has continuously evolved to meet our clients’ needs, connecting to numerous correspondent banks via API to support dynamic IBANs, FX management, and international transactions. Following the rise of cryptocurrency in 2009, we expanded our capabilities by connecting to several Bitcoin exchanges.
Our development roadmap has also included integration with all types of debit card programs. In 2021, we reached a significant milestone by connecting directly to the Bitcoin blockchain, giving clients unprecedented flexibility to operate with both cryptocurrency and fiat currencies. Later that year, we added Ethereum blockchain connectivity, providing direct access to Ether and all ERC20 tokens, and realistic and independent custody solutions.
